Former surfer Jack Johnson performs songs from his CD In Between Dreams . Rilo Kiley fuse indie-pop and alt-country for a sound that emphasizes their emotional, playful lyrics. Highlights include songs from the band’s CD More Adventurous.

AMERICAN EXPERIENCE: Eleanor Roosevelt
Monday, June 16, 8 - 10:30 pm; Saturday, June 21, 7:30 - 10:00 pm
She was a woman who influenced American social policies for decades and pushed through the first international charter on human rights. Surviving a painful childhood and a difficult marriage Eleanor Roosevelt become one of the most admired women in America.

AUSTIN CITY LIMITS: Gretchen Wilson and Miranda Lambert
Saturday, June 21, 10 - 11:00 pm

Country’s leading ladies take the stage to perform their hit songs. Gretchen Wilson sings songs from her recently released second album, All Jacked Up . “Nashville Star,” Miranda Lambert has made a big impression during her short music career. Featured songs come from her debut CD, Kerosene.

NOVA: Mystery of the Megavolcano

A remote lake in Southeast Asia conceals evidence of Earth’s greatest volcanic cataclysm of the last 100,000 years. The Toba eruption may have helped kick the climate into an unprecedented freeze and perhaps even pushed ancestral human populations to the brink of extinction.
