- U.S. Senator Ken Salazar (D-Colorado) is the appointed Secretary of the Interior for the Obama administration; what does this mean to Alaska?
- Commission promotes significant raises for top state employees, including Governor Palin; public barely responds
- One recent study suggests the migration from village Alaska to urban Alaska isn’t nearly as big a deal as everyone thought
- Joshua Wade murder trial continues in federal court, focusing on what kinds of evidence can be considered
- Republican House majority in Alaska picked up three rural Democrats as part of the team, building a 26-14 voting majority
NOTE: Anchorage Edition will return with a new show on Friday, January 9, 2009 on both KSKA-FM and KAKM-TV. A year-in-review program will air on KAKM-TV on Friday December 26 and January 2 (but will not air on KSKA-FM).
