- 7:00pm Antiques Roadshow: Tucson, Arizona
- 8:00pm History Detectives

Each week, host Michael Carey gathers journalists and commentators for a review of the week’s news, politics and public affairs in Anchorage and Alaska. Topics this week include:
- National attention turns to Alaska (again) — this time because Sarah Palin was picked as VP candidate alongside John McCain in the race for the White House
- Alaskan thoughts on the Obama-Biden ticket, in contrast to McCain-Palin
- What happens if Palin goes to Washington as VP and Parnell goes to the U.S. House?
- U.S. House race between Republicans Don Young and Sean Parnell is effectively tied until the Division of Elections can perform a recount from this week’s statewide primary election (Young in the lead by 152 votes at the moment)
- More primary election results for U.S. House (Berkowitz and Benson) and U.S. Senate (Stevens and Begich) and some of the local items
- All statewide ballot measures fail in the primary
- Additional results from the state legislative races — largely status quo, despite corruption controversies of the last couple of years
